Car rental, prospects and risks

Trends in hire cars in Ukraine in 2016 can be described in a few words such as low prices, low profitability (if it covers risks of this complex business) and as a consequence is the slow renewal of the cars offered to clients. Renters get the car very cheaply in the short-term, that is good for them. However, considering the long period it turns out that the rental cars in Ukraine becomes similar to Turkish, and in more detail, it looks like - old cars for rent for a small price.

Car rental in Kiev and airport Borispol, Zhulyany is a litmus test has overall scope of the rental cars in Ukraine and tourism in general. After all, the main stream of tourists coming to the capital of Ukraine and then heading into their destination. All this testifies to the decline of domestic tourism, rolled behind the country's economy.

All internal customers become poorer by 3 times at least and cannot afford to rent a car, and it was a big segment of the market before the war. The whole business in Ukraine is frozen until better times, the situation does not contribute to confidence in the future. Only customers from abroad are left, but the investment climate in the country is poor and Western business in no hurry to Ukraine, therefore, only few people  need cars for rent. Only guests of Ukraine (individuals) are interested. Some of them are our former compatriots living abroad and visiting relatives and friends. Another group of people who hire cars are Ukrainians, working and living abroad and who arrive on vacation or holiday to home.
