Skoda Fabia - model history, advantages

We’d like to describe one more inexpensive vehicle - Skoda Fabia wich we offer for hire in Ukraine. Fabia made by factories in the Czech Republic called Skoda Auto. Start of production dates back to the year 1999 based on the platform and aggregates Volkswagen. In 2007 was released the second generation of the very successful and inexpensive model of the vehicle. We offer the second generation of Fabia, which has shown itself very reliable , low-maintenance with the lowest fuel consumption of a vehicle that has ever used by us.

Both generations of Skoda Fabia were equipped with gasoline engines with displacements of up to 1.2, 1.4, 1.6 liter and diesel engines 1.2 to 1.9 liters. Engines are atmospheric and turbo. Fabias with small engines are inexpensive and very practical vehicle, but a bit slow due to a lack of power and torque. Fabia's second-generation turbocharged petrol engines have very good dynamics and it is interesting for active drivers.

The most interesting for the drivers is a sports Skoda Fabia RS with outstanding, 1.4 turbo 180 hp. Its features are impressive - the maximum speed of 225 km / h, acceleration to 100 km / h - 7.3 seconds . All thanks to the dual turbo supercharger. The body and therefore a margin of safety of the sports car is the same as that of a standard Fabia 1.2, which ensures the safety of the passengers and the driver.

Skoda Fabias are manufactured in the Czech Republic in Mlada Boleslav, in India, in the cities of Pune and Aurangabad, in Russia in Kaluga, in Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, in China, in Shanghai and in the Ukraine in the village of Solomonovo. Of greatest interest to us is the production of the Czech Republic and Ukraine, as well as almost all cars in Ukraine are these manufacturers. Ukraine has made only petrol Fabia with inexpensive atmospheric engines 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6 liters of displacement.

The base model Fabia 1.2 engine features good dynamic and very low fuel consumption 6 - 8 liters in the city and less than 5 liters out of town (at a speed of 90 - 110 km per hour). At high vehicle speeds Fabia ceases to be efficient, as the engine operates in extreme conditions (its optimum and maximum torque is calculated on the speed of 3000 rev./Min.).
